The educational philosophy of the Bear River Charter School is that all students should receive an education that is appropriate for their individual needs in each curricular area; that education should include basic skills, rich content, and field experiences; that teachers are accountable for students' learning; and that students, parents, teachers, and staff are entitled to a positive learning/working environment. This philosophy will underlie every decision made at the school.
Our Faculty. USBE issues three types of licenses; Professional, Associate, and LEA-Specific. Bear River Charter employs 2 full-time individuals holding an LEA-Specific educator license in our middles school. An LEA-Specific educator license is issued by the state board at the request of our governing board that is valid for an employee to fill a position in the school if other licensing routes for the applicant are untenable or unreasonable. Both teachers have advanced degrees in their content area.
